MIKE KLEIN, CMB

Mike is a native and first-generation Texan with a profound dedication to the mortgage industry. After graduating from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2003, he advanced his education by earning an MBA from Rice University in 2008. Mike's commitment to excellence in mortgage banking is demonstrated through his completion of the Mortgage Banker Association’s School of Mortgage Banking, earning him both the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and the esteemed Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designations.

In 2003, Mike embarked on his mortgage career, which led him to co-found CLM Mortgage in 2006. Since then, he has significantly contributed to the company's growth and success by working in various capacities, encompassing everything from origination, processing and underwriting to licensing, investor selection and products. Mike's leadership was instrumental in establishing CLM's Secondary Marketing Department. Currently, he focuses on leveraging Mortgage Technology and enhancing Mortgage Education, underscoring his commitment to simplifying the mortgage process and fostering knowledge within the industry.

Mike's leadership at CLM emphasizes Operations, where his expertise in Secondary Marketing, Compliance, and IT Implementation and Support have been invaluable. His approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the industry, striving to make the mortgage process seamless and efficient for all stakeholders.

Outside of the office, Mike cherishes time spent with his wife, Kassi, and their children, Gavin & Sophie. He is a connoisseur of fine dining and wine, and an avid Astros fan. Mike also enjoys grilling in his backyard, lounging by the pool, and indulging his passion for travel.

Licensed by the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending and the Utah Division of Real Estate, Mike continues to set the standard for excellence and innovation in the mortgage industry.
