MARSHAL TRAINER

Marshal is the Senior Vice President of Business Operations at CLM Mortgage. He received a bachelor’s in business from Texas Tech University and subsequently discovered his calling in the mortgage lending industry. Marshal began his career on the front lines as a Loan Officer for CLM and went on to lead two production branches in Texas. He joined the headquarters group in late 2022 to oversee operations and bring a fresh perspective to a robust team.

Marshal actively participates in a variety of professional organizations, including the Mortgage Bankers Association, Greater Houston Builders Association, and Houston Association of Realtors. He currently serves on the Political Action Committee at the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and is a member of the Vistage executive coaching network. In 2022, Marshal was recognized by National Mortgage Professional magazine as one of the mortgage industries’ Top 40 under 40. Marshal lives by a strict set of values, mostly surrounding the concept of "doing the right thing," a principle he instills within the team he leads.

Outside the office, Marshal is a devoted family man with a love for the outdoors. He takes pride in being a loving husband to his wife and a proud father to two children. On the weekends, you can find him enjoying the outdoors with his family, whether it is playing golf, hunting, fishing, ranching, traveling, or watching his kids’ sporting events.

Marshal is licensed by the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending and Utah Division of Real Estate.
